In this series, kids will explore Jesus\u2019 imaginative stories called parables. Each of His stories and parables instruct us about the kingdom of God, revealing truth about who He is and what He has for His followers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The more we read God\u2019s Word, the more we will know Him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>But what will we do with His words? Will we simply read them and forget them? Or will we allow them to take root in our lives and change us? Will we become wiser? <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, Jesus\u2019 parables tell the depth of His love for each of us. His love helps us know how to show compassion to others in need.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"What Did He Say Series Overview Video\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/836604741?h=7b8a086ebc&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>In this series, kids will explore Jesus\u2019 imaginative stories called parables.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Series Invitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ve probably heard the definition of parables as \u201cearthly stories with a heavenly meaning.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew%2013:10-11&amp;src=tools&amp;version=NIRV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matthew 13:10\u201311<\/a>, Jesus\u2019 disciples came to Him and asked why He was speaking to the people in parables.
