He is with people who face battles, and He\u2019ll use anything\u2014sticky mud, water from a river, a handful of smooth stones, chariots of fire\u2014to triumph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When God is on your side, there\u2019s no reason to worry. We can be strong because He is our strength. In the Victory series, we\u2019ll see God\u2019s deliverance on display through a unique female judge, a young shepherd boy, a miraculous healing, and an invisible angelic army.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But does it ever seem hard to connect to these stories of victory? Life looks so different today compared to 3,000 years ago. While Deborah, David, and Elisha all faced formidable odds, they didn\u2019t live in a world filled with monthly mortgage payments, school shootings, terrorism, and nuclear weapons.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s easy for us to dismiss these biblical stories as archaic inspirational tales, hardly relevant to today\u2019s complex world. However, nothing could be further from the truth!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God doesn\u2019t change. He is eternal, immutable, and perfect in all His ways. When His people faced great challenges long ago, He called them to be \u201cstrong and brave\u201d and \u201cnot lose hope,\u201d and He assured them of His abiding presence (<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Joshua%201:9&amp;src=tools&amp;version=NIRV\">Joshua 1:9<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God\u2019s message to you today is the same. So what are you anxious about? What problems seem insurmountable to you? Whatever they are, take heart: the same God who gave incredible victories to Deborah, David, and Elisha is fighting for you too. His reminder to ancient Israel still rings true for you: \u201cI am the LORD your God.
